Silvia James, Kindergarten teacher at our school, offers a "Jump Into German: Eins, Zwei, Drei" language camp for children entering grades K and 1 from July 7 to August 1. Classes take place in the mornings at Minuteman High School in Lexington, where Silvia is working in the Early Childhood Department. Longing for some authentic German food, drinks and entertainment? The annual "Sommerfest" at the Boylston Schul-Verein is a great summer family event not to be missed! This year's festival is scheduled for June 21 and 22. More information on the event is posted on their Web site and flyer.
Dunja Pechstein, former Music teacher at our school, informed us about her first summer music camp in German as part of her Musikgarten program for children ages 2 through 10. The camp is scheduled for August 4th - 27th (Mondays & Wednesdays) in Belmont:

The Canton Choral Society is performing Johannes Brahms' "Liebeslieder - Walzer" in German at their upcoming concert on Sunday, June 15th at 3:00PM in the Canton High School auditorium, located at 900 Washington Street in Canton.
