Parent Job Program
The tuition fees have been set assuming that the administration and operation of the school can continue on a mostly voluntary basis. We rely on parents to help run the school and keep the tuition low! Please sign up for a parent job when registering. You’ll be able to select three job choices in order of preference – and while we make every attempt to accommodate your job preference, all positions have to be filled in order to maintain the quality of our program. You can review the job choices as well as job descriptions for the 2010/2011 school year prior to your registration here.
If you are unable or do not wish to contribute in this way, we require an additional fee of $250 per family.

Payment
Only online payment through PayPal using a credit card will be accepted. We recommend not to use non-US based credit cards for this process as this may create problems with PayPal.

Preference for Returning Students
We can only guarantee classroom space for current students who register by March 21. While we will do our best to accommodate all returning families, we cannot guarantee spaces for siblings. Please note that siblings have priority over students in new families until March 21. Registration will be closed between March 22 and March 31. On April 1, 2010 we will open up registration to new families.

Please register as early as possible as this will help the registration team with ensuring a smooth placement process.

Preschool-Applicants
All children entering our preschool class must be 4 years old by August 31, 2010 and toilet trained. It is recommended that they have previous preschool, playgroup or daycare experience. Preschool applicants must provide the school with a copy of the child’s birth certificate. This can be mailed to German Saturday School Boston, P.O. Box 15682, Boston, MA 02215 or emailed to registrar@germansaturdayschoolboston.org.

Sprachdiplom DSD I und DSD II Students
Students who wish to continue the studies of German beyond the Sprachdiplom A2 next year, need to register by April 21 while they wait for their teacher recommendation (all students should have received a letter from the principal explaining the requirements for these classes). The tuition payment will be reimbursed upon request.

The upcoming Sprachdiplom DSD I and the 9th grade classes will be held at 808 Commonwealth Avenue. This building is located directly next to our parking lot in short distance to our main teaching facility (and services such as the library).

New families:
If you are interested in our program and you'd like to enroll your child(ren) in our school, it is advisable to contact our registrar before the official registration period. This way we will be able to include you in our e-mail distribution list for messages and you will also be able to find out about our enrollment criteria.

Waiting Lists:
Families who are currently on the waiting list for the 2009/10 school year may register for the 2010/11 school year during the preferred enrollment time (same time period as current families). Should spaces fill up in certain grades during the 2010/11 registration period, a new waitling list will be opened. You will find information on how to place your child/ren on the waiting list for the 2010/11 during our registration process.
