First School Day, Saturday, September 11, 2010:

• Please note that classes begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

• The library will hold an Open House from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. featuring new acquisitions made possible by last year’s Teacher Dankeschön Program. All families newly enrolled at the school can pick up their library cards and the library lending policies at this time.

Returning as well as new parents are encouraged to attend a library orientation at 9:45 a.m. Also, all parents who are assigned to work in the library will convene for their final organizational meeting immediately after the orientation at 10:15 a.m.
Please note that the library is located at 871 Commonwealth Ave. (across from the auditorium on the lower level) and officially opens for borrowing the following Saturday, September 18, 2010.

• Parents may visit their child(ren)’s class(es) from 12:10-12:30 p.m. Teachers will provide a brief introduction to the academic goals and classroom procedures for the new school year. Parents with more than one student at the school are encouraged to attend their children’s classrooms separately.
