Ever wondered if our school has an Honor Society? Well, now it does and last week it officially inducted 12 students from our grades 10 and 11 into the newly formed "National Honor Society for High School Students of German - Delta Epsilon Phi". Thanks to Claire Sehringer and our principal Claudia Bonmassar for making this possible. Delta Epsilon Phi is a chapter affiliated with the AATG and only students who excel in High school and receive a recommendation from their teacher at the Saturday School can become a member. Congratulations to our "first dozen". We hope that this membership will become more than just a certificate - which is challenging given the limited time our students spend together during the school year, but plans are being made. In any case, this is a great start!
