DONNA GIROMINI has been with the German Saturday School since 1989. Drawn to teaching by “a fascination with the language acquisition process of very young children”, Donna is an experienced teacher who worked with Gastarbeiterkinder at a Kindergarten in Germany. Donna uses games, crafts, music, dance and other visible, active means to encourage participation and promote positive reinforcement in her classroom. She enjoys developing "Ten Minute Games" for parents to use at home during the week to help their children speak more German, as well as finding innovative didactical materials for classroom use. Her hobbies are sports and politics.
