It will be hands on learning for several classes from the upper grades who will get to go on a field trip to the Goethe-Institut on Beacon Street on April 25! The Goethe-Institut is about to open its interactive exhibit "Virtual Wall / ReConstructing the Wall" (April 24 - May 6) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall - and our students will be among the first to be on site. The Goethe-Institut is making special arrangements to accommodate our student groups and we are grateful for their cooperation. For these students, this exhibit wraps up nicely the work they did on the Berlin Wall as part of the curriculum as well as the essays they wrote on "20 Jahre danach - Fall der Berliner Mauer" for the annual ZfA-Essay Contest.
