2009 AATG results for our school

The 2009 AATG results have arrived, and as in the past, our school's average raw score is about 90. (Briefly to explain: the raw score is the result of how many questions out of 100 have been answered correctly. The national average is 70). Congratulations to all students in grades 6 through 10 who took this test on January 10. We'd like to particularly mention the impressive results of our 9th, 10th and even a few 8th grade students who took level 4 (the highest difficulty level of this test): 73% of all of them achieved a raw score of 90 and higher. Furthermore,we have two students who qualified to apply for a Study Trip Award to Germany (sponsored by the AATG) this summer based on their exceptional results. Among the students who do not speak German at home and have never been to a German speaking country for more than two consecutive weeks, Julia Moreno and Amanda von Taube scored in the 90th percentile (meaning they scored better than 90% of all the students in their category who took the AATG). Congratulations! Each student who took the test should have received their results by mail at the end of February.
