The German International School Boston is offering, for the first time, full-time scholarships for students entering grades 8-10 for the 2009/10 school year. From what we understand, this scholarship program is primarily directed at families currently living in the Boston area, but who have not considered to send their child to the German International School for financial reasons. Applications should include a resume, cover letter, references from German teachers, report cards etc. and be sent by March 31. The German International School is also accepting applications from students from Germany, Austria or Switzerland who would like to spend a year (Gastschuljahr) at the school. Students who are considering a "Gastschuljahr" should consult this guide for questions.
